3-D Flower

Fridays arts and crafts project is a 3-D Flower. I know it is a little early for a Springtime craft but we are tired of the rain and wishing for some sunshine.

For this craft you will need a paper plate, coffee filter, cup cake liner, Large piece of construction paper, green foam sheet(or you can use construction paper or even just draw a stem and leaves), and stickers(0ptional).
To color the flower portion use whatever works best for your child. Junior loves to use paint and dot markers but you can also use markers, crayons, finger paint, blow pens, etc. Its all about having fun and being creative.

We started by making the top part of our flower so it could dry while we did the rest of the project.
We painted the paper plate, then Junior wanted to use his dot markers on the coffee filter, and cup cake liner. We always try to add some sensory into each activity and have Junior feel each of the different materials.
After the different parts are at least mostly dry we glue them together.
While the flower was drying we put the grass and leaves on our project.
Before we started I cut some grass, a stem, and leaves out of thin foam. You could use construction paper, or just a marker instead.
Glue the flower to the top and then add stickers if you want.
