Sensory Table

I have looked at the sensory/ sand water tables for many years and wanted to get one for Junior.  The wheelchair accessible ones are so pricey that it just wasn't in our budget.  This past week Junior got a very special gift in the mail from an amazing family. 
It is absolutely perfect for him with his chair and I wanted to share some pics in case others have been looking for something like this.  It is called an hour glass sand water table.  The legs are adjustable and it has a water drain on one side. 
Currently we have one side filled with insta snow since Junior loves playing in that. 
 
I love how close he can get to the table.  It allows him arms to be in a good position which helps him get them to move a bit better.  I also don't have to worry about him hurting himself when he stiffens his arms to move them.  
  

 Junior was sick all last week with a nasty respiratory infection.  He is on the mend now and hopefully will be back to his energetic self soon.
